Nursery Nurse (Permanent)

First Step Nursery is a Multicultural setting where we aim to deliver the highest standard of teaching and care to our children in both Plumstead and Deptford.

We would like enthusiastic Nursery Nurses to join us, who are friendly, organised and have strong work ethics. You will need to genuinely love being with children, speak fluent English and have good understanding of the EYFS.

*** You must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a childcare discipline ***

What will I be doing?

Our team of Nursery Nurses are responsible for promoting positive relationship with parents, children and colleagues, ensuring health and safety and the well-being of the children. You will support the children's development, as a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to EYFS.

Nursery Nurse responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Responsibility for children's individual personal hygiene needs
• Care and supervision of the children
• Complete all Nursery documentation as required.
• Establish and develop a good relationship with parent and carers.
• Promote an open and friendly working environment

Working Hours

Days and hours of work: Flexible (Part Time or Full Time)

First Step Nursery understand that our staff are what makes our environment a wonderful place for children to learn and develop. Working within our friendly team, Nursery Nurses receive £8.00 per hour, dependent on skills and experience.
