Proposals Engineer (Permanent)

Proposals Engineer - Pontypool - £20,000-£30,000 DOE

On behalf of our specialist, market leading client based in Pontypool, we are currently recruiting for a highly motivated & articulate Proposals Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of estimates and proposals for mechanical projects.

Role:
* The Proposals Engineer will help prepare proposals working alongside the Bid Manager
* The Proposals Engineer will have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail therefore you will be required to define and manage the input for the proposals, working collaboratively with process, engineering, project delivery, commercial department, sales staff and other members of the proposals team
* Prepare proposals to be are delivered within agreed timescales and to the requisite quality while ensuring all proposals remain cost competitive

This position would suit an adaptable engineer with experience of mechanical estimating, who wants to work in a successful, dynamic and supportive department dealing with a wide range of industries and daily variety of challenges and applications

Proposals Engineer Requirements:
* Qualified to degree level or qualified by experience
* Desire to learn Company's technologies
* Desire to be busy, managing/planning multiple proposals at the same time
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills
* Excellent planning and organisation skills
