Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an HGV Driver for our team in Sheffield, working 45 hours a week.

The Role:

Joining our team, the HGV Driver will drive and operate vehicles and plant profitably and efficiently, in accordance with Viridor and legislative requirements. As a Driver, you are responsible for the day to day operation of an LGV dry waste collection vehicle, which must be operated in an economical fashion.

Efficiency and legality are paramount, whilst maximising service delivery and profitability. You’ll ensure the vehicle you are responsible for is kept in a clean and tidy manner and drive your vehicle in a responsible manner that promotes Viridor in a positive way.

The ideal HGV Driver:

• Good geographic knowledge of the area serviced by the Logistics Unit
• Hold a current HGV driving licence and Driver CPC Qualification
• Road Haulage Operations experience
• Experience of Digital Tachograph Operation
• Excellent routing skills
