Are you an exceptional Pensions Administrator looking for an exciting new challenge?

Pennon Group is a large environmental infrastructure group based in the UK.

A vacancy has arisen in Pennon’s Group Pensions Department as a result of a move within the Group for one of the team.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a hardworking, friendly and customer-orientated In-House Administration team.

What will you be doing?

As Pensions Administrator, you will cover all aspects of Pennon Group’s Defined Benefit (DB) Scheme, and you’ll provide support for Trustee meetings and for the outsourced Defined Contribution (DC) arrangements. You will need to have the necessary skills to provide accurate, timely processing as part of the team providing a comprehensive service to schemes with thousands of DB and DC members.

The Group Pensions team deals with all scheme members – actives (contributing members) and pensioners (deferred and in payment) – giving clear written and verbal communications showing sensitivity where appropriate. The team will provide support for a new DC Master Trust arrangement including members accessing third party resources.  We also deal with all scheme advisers and fiduciary managers, Trustee Directors, insurers, investment companies and IFAs.

Group Pensions maintains scheme records for the DB scheme and other legacy arrangements, helping provide data and support to the DC scheme, including member records, calculations and correspondence, bank accounts, cash books, and payment of invoices.

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for an experienced Pensions Administrator with the right skills and qualities to be able to contribute from the start:

  • Proven pensions administration experience in a busy third-party or in-house environment
  • You will be an established team worker
  • Computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Office including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work accurately and quickly, with a high degree of numeracy and flexibility
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive knowledge of pension provision in general
  • Well-developed planning and communication skills
  • Commitment to deliver outputs to agreed timescales

What can Pennon offer you?
