Construction / Site Manager (Residential Developments Exp.) - 6 Months - Fareham

Job Summary
To provide Construction/Project Management services for the delivery of various residential infrastructure works in Fareham. You will be responsible for overseeing and day to day client focused management of:
* S278 and S38 road works including culverts/bridges
* Installation of new utilities and diversions including small sub-stations and Pumping Stations
* Delivery of allotments
* Public open spaces
* Play spaces/parklands
* Ecological habitats.

As part of this delivery you will be expected to :
* Actively participate and lead where required in meetings with various stakeholders
* Ensure works packages are delivered in line with the relevant planning conditions, project schedules and contract documentation
* Visit site to direct numerous contractors and resolve misunderstandings
* Provide an HSE overview to ensure works are delivered to the expected standard
* Monitor and update progress on schedules
* Administer contract paperwork to ensure effective and contractual delivery of the projects
* Provide coherent written reports on works progress for client review
* Liaise with design team to ensure current design information is available in a timely manner for the delivery of the works
* Hold appropriate CCS card and SMSTS qualification.

Skills & Experience:
NEC contract experience, but the key thing is site experience and the ability to oversee many different types of works on site. The successful candidate will need to have experience of working with contractors and have experience of residential developments.
