Qualified Social Worker - Looked After Children Team (Contract)
A well-established local authority is looking for Qualified Social Workers to join its Looked After Children Team based in the West Midlands.
This is a Locum post, offering a salary of between £27.57 and £32.34 per hour. It also provides you with the flexibility of being an agency social worker!
The successful candidate will be working with children and young people who are in care and leaving care. They will be responsible for managing a caseload of between 18 and 20 cases, with 4 cases being in Court. The successful candidate must therefore have experience in Court Work.
My client understands the importance of being in a positive and supportive work environment to ensure you can work autonomously and have the assistance you need to feel confident and comfortable in your role. You will also be able to work mostly from home, to help keep you safe in these current times. Visits to children will still need to be conducted face-to-face.
The successful candidate:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker
- Must be registered with Social Work England
- Must have at least 2 years experience in a LAC team
