I am looking for a strong Product Designer with at least 4 years' experience across the spectrum of digital design, with a love for start-ups.

Your skill set is equal measures of UX, UI and Product. You thrive in deploying these skills throughout the delivery chain, from customer research, to quality design assets and right through to usability testing.

We value people who can solve problems by positively engaging those around them, as is clear communication and empathy: a shining example of a human-centered designer. But most of all, you're hands-on and know how to get the job done.

You will be working for a well-funded start-up with 3 years under the belt, developing tailored consumer experiences for their members and enterprise-grade SAAS products for their customers.

They are in the process of designing proprietary software solutions for novel use cases, so those looking to push their skills to the limit and learn new techniques to solve complex design challenges would enjoy working here.

You will be:

* Collaborating with PM's, developers and customer specialist's experts to turn insights into products
* Taking a human centered approach to design by working closely with the users of our products
* Creating user journeys, scenarios, IA diagrams, sketches, wireframes and prototypes that can be demonstrated to stakeholders, users and the wider engineering team top gather consensus on what's being built
* Creating production quality assets for handover to engineering teams
* Working with product to make sure solutions are usable before launch, through the use of alpha tests, beta tests or any other method in your designer's toolkit.
It is crucial that we find the right person for this role. If you tick all of the following boxes, perhaps this could be you!
* Can adapt UX research into usable designs which work across desktop and mobile
* Equal strengths in UI, UX and Product
* Understand how to work in an environment where user experience is shared across a business
* Can communicate design rationale and demonstrate ideas clearly but...
* ...is also a natural collaborator who can gather feedback to improve the quality of design solutions
* Show knowledge of hypothesis-based design methods
* Can create usability test plans and conduct usability test sessions
* Have worked in an agile development environment.
* Can demonstrate a keen sense for how lean business practices can affect the development of a product.

For this position, you will receive a competitive salary (in the region of £65k - £75k) plus an equity package (dependant on experience), plus holiday entitlement and pension.
