My client is looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to join a high performing finance team within a growing segment of the financial services industry. You will become part of an acquisitive organisation that is private equity backed and growing extensively across the UK. This will offer a brilliant career path for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant who wants to get exposure to acquisitions, M&A and more hands-on responsibilities in a technical role. In addition, you will have genuine scope to go permanent or get your contract extended.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Financial Controller and CFO on certain projects as the company transforms its processes and systems
- Assistance with Year End/Audit
- Preparation of the monthly board pack and review the monthly management accounts, providing analysis and commentary
- Consolidation of financial statements
- IFRS reporting
- Group intercompany balances agree at month end and the intercompany matrix is in agreement.
- Provide assistance for the Financial Controller on various tasks such as group financial reporting and consolidation of global reporting entities
- Supporting the auditors with financial audit and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Providing information to internal/external auditors and tax advisors
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Strong Technical Accounting Skills, including IFRS
- Strong Excel skills
