IFA/Financial Services Administrator (Permanent)

Acorn Finance are currently working with a financial services organisation on the outskirts of Cardiff. The firm is looking to take on an IFA Administrator with existing experience who can work their way up in the firm.

We're also happy to consider applicants with a strong administration background and ideally some exposure to the financial services sector and relevant regulations.

This role will involve working closely with the advisers and paraplanners to ensure all financial applications are processed correctly on behalf of their clients.

Salary: £18,000 - £25,000
Location: Outer Cardiff (parking available). Mostly office based

What the role will involve:

* Support the financial advisors in preparing suitability reports for their clients
* Gather financial data & create illustrations using research tools
* Follow up with all applications to ensure all information is obtained
* Utilise their back-office system to prepare files for submissions, creating service cases, creating client records and updating any further information
* Contacting lenders/providers to progress applications
* General office duties including answering the telephone, directing calls, scheduling client appointments and working with advisors to ensure regulated transactions are compliant

What we're looking for:

* Previous experience working within an IFA or the wider financial services sector
* Ideally working towards or completed the Certificate in Financial Planning (CII)
* Excellent academic background
* Good numerical & communicational skills are essential
* Good working knowledge of Word & Excel
