Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Pegasus School, Caldwell, Derbyshire, DE12 6RS

Salary: £18,720.00 - £21,450.00 per annum depending on experience / qualifications

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

As a Support Worker at Pegasus School you will work alongside the best in their field and give excellent care and guidance to the young people at our residential school.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting within the home, community and school setting
• Delivering personal care – including support with toileting and bathing
• Administering medication (once you have received the necessary training)
• Promoting independence
• Planning and taking part in a range of activities

About you:

Essential criteria

• Excellent communication
• Flexible and hardworking
• Confident team player
• Kind and caring
• Driving Licence
• Experience in the care or support of another
• A willingness to deliver personal care, including toileting and bathing.

Desirable criteria

• Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (Ask about our £1500 bonus for Care Assistants who join us with this qualification!)
• First Aid Certificate
• Experience in a similar setting
