This role will support the day-to-day planning and delivery of the companies overarching comms plan as well as taking ownership of the email channel to deepen the companies relationship with customers and ultimately grow revenue (via sales and app subscriptions).
Responsibilities will include:
Development of a comms plan, coordinating with product managers, product marketers, eCommerce and channel marketing to deliver campaign and tactical promotions consistently across all touchpoints and channels.
Taking ownership of the email strategy to drive acquisition, retention and drive lifetime customer value.
Managing initiatives to grow our engaged database.
Managing an ongoing test plan and continuously monitoring and optimising campaigns to increase performance
Working closely with our creative team and creative agencies to create on brand, customer focused and engaging creative and copy in line with our brand tone of voice
Proofing and testing every email before deployment and making relevant adjustments throughout the sign-off process.
Using segmentation/personalisation to ensure all communications are targeted and relevant.
Creation of automated / triggered programmes
What we're looking for:
Essential attributes:
Strong experience in an email focused role, ideally within an eCommerce context.
Working knowledge of automation programmes
Highly numerate and data driven with the ability to work to targets, identify opportunities and improve measurable outcomes
Knowledge of GDPR and its implications for marketing
Experience working with an ESP such as DotDigital
Experience of working with a CRM such as D365
Creative and hands on with outstanding attention to detail
A self-starter who takes ownership with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
Excellent copywriting skills and good level of Photoshop
Sound Excel skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills at all levels.
