Media First was founded over 40 years ago, initially, we specialised in media training before evolving to help our clients with their wider communications challenges. Today, although still called Media First, we are ultimately known as specialists in communications training.

About the role:

Fancy filming some of the biggest brands in the country?

We are looking for an experienced camera operator / digital editor to join our brilliant team providing communication training for 40 of the FTSE 100.

We need someone who can play a crucial role in the delivery of our training courses and who can help deliver live streaming webinars and training events.

Who are we looking for?

We need someone with extensive experience of working in studios and on outside broadcasts.

We also need someone with a good understanding of streaming, including setting up, broadcasting and managing multi-cameras and input live streaming events.

Audio and video editing capabilities are also essential. Ideally using Adobe Creative Suite; Premiere Pro, Photoshop and experience of motion graphic software such as After Effects would be handy too.

And because we deliver training throughout the country, you'll need to be happy to travel.

Roles:

• Camera operator on our training courses, including media training, crisis communication training, and crisis scenario testing.
• Live streaming webinars for delegates on our year-long learning and development programme.
• Uploading course videos to our secure system.
• Editing The Media Landscape podcast.
• Producing attention-grabbing social media content.
• Filming, editing and producing video content for our subscription based training courses.

Experience:

• Around 3 years' experience as a camera operator/editor/technician, preferably in news.
• Similar experience of colour grading, lighting, audio and video and editing.
• Ideally, you are also a news junkie.
• And while having your own equipment would be useful, it is not essential.
• Full clean UK driver's license.

What can we offer you?

Well, first off is a salary of up to £29,500 a year.

You'll also get 23 days annual leave a year (and it increases by a day a year for each of the first three days you are with us).
