Gas Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Gas Engineer to join one of our well-established leading facilities management clients based out of Bristol and surrounding areas (Somerset, Swindon, Gloucester etc).

Responsibilities:

• Undertake the maintenance and repair of the Gas Plant, including fabric & basic electrical tasks of buildings as required under contract.
• You must have experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment such as boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, cables, batteries, small power and lighting.
• Ensure all PPM and Reactive tasks are completed to the required legislative standards and all required paperwork is completed and submitted within timescales.
• Participate on the On-Call Rota.
• Be capable to monitor of visiting sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety, you need to issue appropriate permits, control small work and escort duties as required.
• You must ensure all certification is correctly completed and remedial works clearly identified.

• Experience in working against a timeline.

Qualifications Required:

• Qualified to City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent in relevant disciplines to role.
