Are you an experienced Legal PA/Secretary seeking remote work opportunities?
Our client is a prominent Barristers’ Chambers offering advisory and advocacy services for civil courts and tribunals in England & Wales. They are seeking an experienced Legal PA to join the team on a permanent basis.
The Barrister’s work is centred around Litigation, arbitration and alternative resolution.
Key duties and responsibilities:
This role provides the flexibility of fully remote work with all necessary equipment provided.
Hours per week: 35 hours per week
Start date: ASAP

The Barrister’s work is centred around Litigation, arbitration and alternative resolution.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting the barrister in every aspect of their case work preparation, legal research, and document management, and accessing and collating materials.
- Extensive and complex diary and travel management.
- Opening and closing of files, conflict checks etc
- Typing and amending documents including correspondence, agreements etc. Proof reading documents, agreements etc.
- Billing, invoicing, and tracking expenses.
- Assisting with confidential projects.
- Opening and closing of files, conflict checks etc.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and research skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent spelling and grammar.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Initiative and discretion when problem-solving in a range of professional contexts.
- Good judgement and common sense.
- Ability to work closely and build a relationship of trust and partnership with the barrister.
