Human Resources Co-ordinator (Permanent)

Acorn by Synergie is excited to be recruiting a meticulous and proactive Human Resource Co-ordinator to join a busy People operations department at a busy manufacturing site in North Devon.

Scope of the role:

• To provide support to the Human Resources Manager and assist in administering HR policies and processes.

Main responsibilities include:

• Administration of the Time Management System and HR System in line with the associated rules and procedures
• Monitoring, recording, calculation and notification of staff absences and sickness and holiday
• Assisting in the recruitment process from start to finish, including new starter onboarding
• Ensuring all job descriptions are up to date
• Management of workwear throughout the Company to ensure ESD and safety requirements are met
• General Administrative support for the HR and Training & Development Teams.
• Control of internal Notices

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

• Essential
• Previous administrative experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communication skills both verbal and written
• Work well as part of a team but with a proactive approach
• The ability to prioritise workload and identify as hoc tasks
• Working knowledge Microsoft office suite ( particularly Excel)
• Act with empathy and uphold strict levels of confidentially an GDPR conformance

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a Human resources environment
• CIPD Level 3 in Human resource practice
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of employment law
