Job Title: Production Team Leader

Salary: £12 - £15 per hour

Location: Pontefract (WF9 3FD)

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday (overtime offered)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the production line, meet production targets, and in accordance with Quality and safety standards. To support the Company and the Production Manager in Continuous Improvement and 5s of the product line. Lead by example in production by ensuring customer requirements are satisfied. Supporting Production Manager for daily management of the whole line process.

• Production planning, ensuring jobs are programmed into the schedule to satisfy customer requests and dates given by the Production Manager
• Products despatched as acknowledged to satisfy delivery & quality requirements of the customer.
• Zero quality complaints mentality instilled in Production line & operatives.
• Assisting with daily workload distribution so all jobs are completed, and machinery is utilised to maximum capacity throughout the line.
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Reporting damaged materials delivered into us prior to the process.
• Maintain staff and production output by assisting the Production Manager in continuous improvement.
• Effectively motivating a small team of people allowing for personal growth including conducting PDRS and one 2 ones.
• Assisting with daily workload distribution so all jobs are completed, and machinery is utilised to maximum capacity throughout the line.
• Support the Production Manager in ensuring a 5s mentality can be seen throughout production.
