Children Social Worker looking to work within Adults Services (Ongoing Contract)
Requirements:
- Social Work England Registered
- Enhanced DBS
- Social Work Qualification
- Knowledge of adult transition work there is a 0-25 service and adult disabilities experience is essential.
- Understanding of the Care Act 2014 and the Children and Families Act 2014
NonStop's client is seeking a Social Worker for their Transitions team, where Qualified Social Workers will be required to work with 18-25 year olds.
You will be joining a very inclusive and happy team and you can rely on good support from me as your manager and also from your colleagues. You will be aided with a team of Family Support Workers who the team say they value and who are instrumental in helping us achieve some really good outcomes for our children and young people.
The team works with young adults going through the transition from Children to Adults Services. In the role you will be liaising with Children Services and colleagues in education, health and employment services. You will be assessing young adults under the Care Act 2014 where there is a likely need for care and support as an adult.
This role offers Agile/Hybrid Working - you have the opportunity to work from home and the Town Hall but also you will need to attend face to face visits within the Borough.
