Senior Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention - £46,406 (Permanent)

Nonstop Care is working with a well-established local authority that is looking for a Social Worker to join their Assessment & Intervention Team in Berkshire Area.

You'll work within a team led by experienced and supportive managers, providing you with guidance and mentorship to enhance your professional growth and success.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safety planning
• Completing Section 17 Single Assessments and Section 47 Enquiries
• Initial Child Protection Conferences
• Initial Core Group Meetings and Child in Need Meetings
• Court work including Section 7 and 37 reports
• Applications for court orders including Emergency Protection Orders and Interim Care Orders

Requirements:

• Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
• Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
• Post-qualified experience across assessment and/or child protection
• Clear, Enhanced DBS
• Must drive and have access to own vehicle
