Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Romford, Essex

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Generous uncapped bonus package

Job Type: Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week)

The Role:

Purified Air are international market leaders in Commercial Kitchen Odour control, Indoor Air Quality and Industrial Filtration. Since 1984 Purified Air have built a strong international reputation for manufacturing high quality products within the air filtration industry whilst taking a consultative approach to our customers. Supplying on many large scale IAQ projects and for all major restaurant brands globally through a network of 40+ distributors.

Based in Romford, with maintenance hubs in both London & Manchester, Purified Air comprises of 84 employees and growing, including 3 Directors, 7 Sales professionals, 15 Service & Sales administrators and 50+ Service Engineers & Warehouse operatives.

Purified Air are continuing to grow and are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the Sales Team with a focus on generating new business for Purified Air's UVGI/Indoor Air Quality & Commercial Kitchen Odour Control products.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Developing new & existing business relationships for Purified Air
  • Reactivating dormant accounts
  • Dealing with existing clients
  • Generation of new business
  • Creating sales strategies to achieve targets
  • Candidates will find themselves dealing with Mechanical Engineers, Air Quality Consultants, Contractors, Environmental Health Officers & more

Desired Skills/Personal Attributes:

  • Minimum of at least 3 years' experience in a senior sales role
  • A commercial acumen and awareness
  • Solution driven with the ability to come up with new and innovative tactics and ideas
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Hold an appropriate driving licence
