Personal Advisor - £24/hr - Hybrid Working Flexibility (Contract)

Nonstop Care is working with a well-established local authority that is looking for a Personal Advisor to join the Leaving Care Team, in East of England.

As a personal advisor, you'll have the satisfaction and fulfilment of offering advice and support to young people as they leave care and turn towards independent living, encouraging them to achieve their life goals.

The position also offers you incredible Hybrid Work flexibility, giving you the flexibility of working from the comfort of your home for the most part, while achieving a better work-life balance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Utilize substantial paid or volunteer experience to work closely with care leavers within a social care environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in providing essential support services to aid young individuals leaving the care system.
• Apply your expertise in managing behavioural issues among children, adolescents, and their caregivers.
• Ensure compliance with and application of child safeguarding principles and guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and adeptly with children, young people, parents, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate experience in Children Leaving Care and/or children in care
• Must drive and have access to own vehicle.
