Social Worker - IRO - £40/hr - ASAP Start (Contract)

Nonstop Care is working with a well-established local authority that is looking for a social worker to join their team as an Independent Review Officer (IRO) in West Yorkshire

Your Responsibilities:

• Advocate for and champion the voices of Children Looked After (CLA).
• Ensure that care planning promotes early permanence planning.
• Skilfully engage and support the participation of children in the review and planning process.
• Ensure that CLA voices are central to decision-making as corporate parents.

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Post-qualified experience in children protection and court proceedings
• Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
• experience across child protection and/or assessment
• Ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
• Enhanced DBS
• Full drivers licence with vehicle access
