Acorn by Synergie are looking to appoint an Electrical Project Engineer for their client who supplies a range of products to the construction industry, employing circa 230 people on site.

In this role you will act as a lead engineer on specific process improvements, reporting directly to the Project Asset Improvement Engineer you'll be expected to prioritise Electrical Project work load and work towards the common business goals. This may require shift and potential weekend working, the role is primarily a Days based role Monday to Friday shift pattern.


What you will do

The role of Electrical Project Engineer will proactively engage in the process of business expansion, process improvement and development. They will need to liaise with line management, other Building Systems functions and third parties to deliver the teams objectives overcoming any issues that may occur. A key personal attribute being flexibility and an ability to self-prioritise within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What you will need

The Electrical Project Engineer will be qualified to minimum HNC level in an appropriate Electrical engineering discipline and must have a wide experience of the works processes and control systems. You will be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to safety including PUWER regulations and be competent in the operation of computer systems with proven experience of engineering systems and techniques.



We'd also be very keen to hear from you if you have:

· Experience of project management from small scale improvements to systems / process plant equipment

· The ability to provide informative structured project plans to the management and operations team when necessary

· Ability to demonstrate qualities of flexibility, initiative, drive and commitment

· The ability to work safely under pressure and to tight timescales

· Excellent numeracy, literacy, and IT skills


The individual will be an integral part of the engineering function, working closely with the operations and Engineering team to deliver results and assist in ensuring production performance meets the required targets.
