This company is a global technology leader with a focus on medical devices and entertainment solutions such as cinemas and are seeking a proficient freelance Quality Design Engineer to join their team in Zwevegem, Belgium. Working from the headquarters in close proximity to decision-makers ensures efficient communication and quicker responses, facilitating seamless collaboration on innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to design and process improvement initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation in medical device engineering.
- Participate in the review of design verification and validation protocols & reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in V&V methods and apply your understanding of ISO 13485, with knowledge of MDR considered a valuable asset.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience in V&V methods within the medical device industry.
- Strong engineering skills specific to medical devices, showcasing proficiency in developing quality design solutions.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards, with additional knowledge of MDR being advantageous.
