We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated receptionist to join a support service and charity for at-risk adults facing homelessness in Birmingham. As a temporary position for 2 months to cover long-term absence, this role offers a unique chance to contribute positively to the lives of those in need.

About the Role: As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance from our support service and charity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming visitors with warmth and empathy.
• Managing incoming calls and correspondence.
• Providing administrative support to the team.
• Assisting vulnerable individuals with their inquiries and directing them to the appropriate resources.
• Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all visitors.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• Previous experience in a receptionist-based role.
• A compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Experience in supporting vulnerable individuals is highly desirable.
