We are looking for a skilled Workshop Mechanic to join our client's Fire and Rescue Service for their corporate fleet of fire engines, a highly respected organization focusing on delivering innovative fleet management services. Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for providing mechanical repairs and general engineering skills in a busy heavy or light vehicle workshop.

- You will manage workloads independently and accurately diagnose vehicle computer systems, while following a "right first time" ethos.

- You will have responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment and communicating with your colleagues to ensure the efficient running of the workshop.

Requirements:

- A City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Mechanics qualification or equivalent, including LGV/Light Mechanic qualification and IRTEC Qualification.

- Experience in computerized diagnostic equipment and managing mixed fleet light and heavy vehicles.

- A high standard of general engineering abilities, including mechanical repairs, basic welding skills, and hydraulic knowledge.
