Technical Integration Support Engineer - CENTRAL LONDON

What will you Receive:
* Base salary of £40,000.

What you will do:
* Responsible for software and hardware employed in our customer's digital CCTV, Access Control and electronic security systems command and control centre environments, encompassing complex live networked integrated solutions.
* You will be part of the Field Service Support Team who, maintain and support control environments used within City & Town Centre's Public Space Security, Commercial and Industrial sites and Urban Traffic Control.


Responsibilities:
* The maintenance and servicing of digital CCTV and associated security systems, business process improve, building management and AV systems.
* Liaising and inter-operating with equipment manufacturers, software suppliers and sub-contractors as well as communicating with customers (Internal and external) to discuss problems and issues to identify solutions.
* Work closely with system engineers to gain a better understanding of existing systems, keeping up to date on new technology within the industry, updating Field Operations Managers and other stakeholders, providing system performance reports and maintaining and managing documentation.



Qualifications (.What we look for)
* City & Guilds, HND or university degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Hands-on experience of supporting and maintaining IP CCTV systems, including DVR, NVRs and video encoders.
* Hands-on experience of supporting and maintaining IP Access Control systems, including single, multisite or enterprise systems.
* Knowledge and experience of Audio Visual systems, including audio/video recorders, video-walls and displays.
* Knowledge and experience of TCP/IP networking, including configuring and maintaining routers and switches.
* Knowledge and experience of working via remote dial-in facilities such as VPN.
