This company runs a successful engineering team that is looking for a firmware engineer to take on new projects!



Your daily role:

*Design and develop embedded software for this company's products in a language suitable for the application. This will primarily be 'C' or assembler.
*Complete verification and validation process on developed embedded software and systems.
*Constantly review procedures and processes with Manager's, to improve the quality of products at the design & development stage.
*Write product documentation in accordance with customers
*Liaise with the Operations Development Department to provide technical assistance in the development of test solutions.



Key Skills required:

*Able to write & debug embedded software in 'C'
*Able to write and debug embedded software in Assembler
*Able to write and debug software in Delphi or Visual Basic
*Experience of Microchip processors
*Use software and hardware debug tools to validate software (e.g. I.C.E., Simulator)
*Basic electronic principals
*Can use and operate basic test equipment to validate software (e.g. Oscilloscope, D.V.M.)
*System verification and validation testing
*Design experience of products for robust environments
*Design experience of products for low power environments
*Skilled in the use of Windows 7, Office & Outlook
