Fire and Security Alarm Engineer (Permanent)

Job Title: Fire and Security Alarm Engineer
Responsible To: Managing Director
Overall Job Purpose: Kenect Staff are recruiting for an experienced Installation and Service Engineer to join this local family ran business. The job role will involve planning and maintaining bespoke Fire Alarms, CCTV and security alarms nationwide in both Residential and Commercial businesses. You will have an extensive knowledge and experience of installing the latest wired and wireless solutions and be experienced in the inte-gration of them using online, digital and Smartphone technology.

Main Responsibilities
*Installation, service and maintenance of the company wide range of security products.
*Advising customers on new products and services to improve efficiency.
*Provide excellent service to customers, building solid working relationships.
*Attending urgent service calls to meet our service level agreements.
*Must be flexible to be able to deal with emergencies out of work.
*Installing and maintaining of Fire Alarms, CCTV & Intruder & Access Controls.
Required Skills
*At least 2 years experience in this role.
*Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and be confident building strong rela-tionships with service users.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Must be able to pass a full 10 year screening, police and DBS check.
*Excellent time management and be highly organised.
*Positive attitude towards own personal development and willingness to learn.
*Keep self updated with new products coming onto the market.

Location: Cannock with nationwide travel.
Salary: Competitive pay £20k - £35k dependant on experience, company van and mobile phone.
