What are we looking for?

Be self motivated, focused on the team and able to earn the trust of those that work with them. Experience with Tarmac's Risk assessment and SSOW process (HIRA) and Permit system is preferred but not essential as training can be given. They would be an effective team player that can motivate and inspire other individuals to engage with the company's policies, targets, goals and standards. Be IT/computer literate.

Multi Skilled Operative Responsibilities:

You will specifically focus on operational tasks including weighbridge, mobile plant, loading shovel, tractor/bowser duties and day to day maintenance as well as maintaining the highest levels of housekeeping. We would expect the successful candidate to have a solid knowledge of sand & gravel production, the dangers and hazards it brings and a safe understanding of what needs to be done for this process to run efficiently and safely from day to day.

We would expect the successful Multi Skilled Operative, to be experienced in all these matters as well as being able to effectively integrate into an established team to implement best practice across the site.
