Plumbing Retail Supervisor – Based in Bexhill

We require a Plumbing Retail Supervisor at our Bexhill branch, dealing with both trade and retail customers. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a fast-growing renowned Builders Merchant.

The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 5.30pm and Saturdays from 8am to 12.30pm. You would be required to work 45 hours per week between these opening hours.

Plumbing Retail Supervisor responsibilities:

As a Plumbing Supervisor, you will be selling Plumbing and Heating products to customers, whilst effectively helping the department to achieve its sales and financial objectives. You will also:

• Developing sales opportunities for new, lapsed, and existing customers
• Communicating and negotiating with customers to secure the most profitable quotes and on-going business
• You must ensure that customers receive the highest level of customer service
• You will be commercially aware, with the ability to drive sales.

The ideal Plumbing Retail Supervisor

The successful candidate needs to be flexible and versatile with great people and organisational skills. They must be able to work on their own initiative but also as part of a team. They will need to feel confident operating a computer-based sale and purchasing system.

Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating and Bathrooms is essential, and you must have experience working within a supervisory role within the builders’ merchant industry.
