Head of Operations - Product Protection (Permanent)

GardX is a world-renowned supplier to the automotive sector, providing vehicle protection systems, digital merchandising solutions, aftermarket and insurance products.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Operations – Product Protection to join our team! The role will be based in Emsworth, with national and international travel required by business needs.

This exciting opportunity would suit a Senior Manager from the Insurance or Motor industry, but ideally with a solid working knowledge of both sectors. In return for your hard work as our Head of Operations – Product Protection, you will receive a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum + Bonus.

Your New Role:

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Head of Operations will manage and support the development of the GardX Insured and non-insured Protection Product business; assisting in the delivery maximum Return on Investment, at Executive Management level through delivery of business objectives via; Insured Products, key clients, senior managers and strategic partners.

You’ll ensure there is a culture of continual business improvement established and maintained at the forefront of all activities at all levels within the organisation. You will facilitate and promote positive and timely business growth within a regulated framework. Key responsibilities include:

• Product Protection Operations Leadership
• Strategic planning and implementation aligned with Business Objectives.
• Protection products performance management oversight.
• Appropriate premium collection and claims payment cash flow performance in conjunction with the Financial Controller.
• Achieving and maintaining positive underwriter, regulator, dealer, partner and supplier relationships.
• Third Party Administrator and Service Provider management, including claims and customer services as well as policy and guarantee administration.
• Development and management of inward and outward Service Level Agreements and contracts and legal requirements.
• Systems development and supplier management including Project Management
• Regulatory compliance, governance and control, identifying regulatory related performance risk areas within the business.
• Process and procedure development, review and oversight.

What You Will Have:

The successful Head of Operations will have extensive experience at Senior Management level in the Motor Trade, Motor Insurance Insurance or related industry. You’ll possess current industry knowledge of; Motor Trade, Profit, Customer Retention and Product Enhancement methods; as well as excellent knowledge of Finance and Insurance development and distribution. You’ll also have:

• Proven track record of positive delivery through Senior level management of Middle management in regulated markets.
• Proven delivery of performance through people (direct and indirect reports, pier groups and suppliers).
• Senior level client and team negotiation skills
• Senior Management level organisation skills
• Ideally, MIMI and CII qualification

Applicants should be highly motivated self-starters with strong client focussed leadership and negotiation skills, able further develop an already well-established operation and product portfolio.
