Job Description
Daniel Owen are currently recruiting on behalf contractor for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a regeneration scheme for a social housing contract. You will be joining a team based in Surrey Quays and working on 2 block improvement projects.
Daily responsibilities for the successful Surveyor will include:
- Commercially responsible for an array of refurb and maintenance work
- Supply chain management
- Evaluating and monitoring contractual risks on a regular basis
- Attending site to substantiate valuations/work done on site
- Internal and external works decent homes standards
- Responsible for H&S on site
Requirements for the role:
- Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying/ Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 1 years' experience in similar roles (Must be social housing)
- Commercial experience and knowledge SOR's, CVR's and final accounts
- Experience with EWI and cladding would be advantageous
