Thanks to the backing of household name elite athletes, and of course their fantastic product offering, this Y Combinator alumni startup in Holborn have smashed their Series A round and landed £15M of funding.

Founded by Cambridge graduates and sports enthusiasts, with offices in London and San Francisco, they are planning to increase from 30 people to over 100 in the next 18 months alone, so will need plenty of Senior Software Engineers!

As a Data Engineer joining here here you'll be working with some of the best engineers in London, as they've headhunted elite talent from the likes of Google, Facebook, Deliveroo and JP Morgan to name just a few.

As a Data Engineer you will be defining the data strategy, building robust, low latency pipelines and selecting the data technical stack.

Front-end: an SEO-optimized, eye-wateringly performant web client
Search: a lightning fast search service across hundreds of thousands of race tickets, leveraging Elasticsearch
Data-ingestion: a data-ingestion pipeline to keep their huge database of races updated in real-time
Mobile: a mobile app that will connect hundreds of thousands of users with the best races in the world

They're open to a range of backgrounds - although ideally they'd like a computer science background and expert knowledge in Python based data engineering.

The package for the Data Engineer is between £80,000 to £110,000 inclusive of equity, free gym membership, entry to race events, 25 days holiday, 1 day a week from home
