Data Engineer (Permanent)

Data Engineer - Python, AWS, SQL
X5 - Remote based currently

Salary from £40,000 upwards DOE

Data Engineers required to join a market leading Data Management and Analytics company with offices across the UK. Working with some of the most well known names across Financial institutes and Consultancies, this is a well known market leader.

Coming off the back of a successful quarter this consultancy is now in hyper growth mode and looking to add multiple hires every month for the foreseeable to keep up with demand from their clients.

Here you'll have the opportunity to work with a creative and highly skilled team of consultants who have expertise in technical delivery, technologies and concepts in areas such as Data Storage, Data Ingestion, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Data Preparation and Cloud Infrastructure.

You will need to be excited about data and working with best practises in an agile environment. As this is consultancy you will need to have effective communication skills and be happy to work client side.


Essential Requirements:


*Strong cloud engineering experience
*Strong communication skills
*Skilled in multiple languages such as SQL, Python, Java, Scala, Julia…
*Hands on experience of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS & GCP
*Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL foundational tools and databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB
*Experience delivering multiple solutions using key techniques such as Data Modelling, DWH, Lakes, ETL, ELT, Virtualisation & Streaming
*Minimum 2 years' experience as Data Engineer with previous experience in industry or as SQL developer
*Flexibility to travel to and work on client sites within the UK
*A passionate desire and attitude to learn new tool

This is a fantastic opportunity for those early in their career or for those already established, as there are multiple training opportunities and progression within the company based on the large portfolio of client needs.

Candidates can start immediately, and we are looking for candidates to start by November or after the new year.
