NonStop's client, an Outstanding local authority based in North London, is looking for a confident and passionate Senior Practitioner for its new team "The Baby and Me Service". The Baby and Me Team is a Pre-Birth Assessment team. The team was created to ensure high quality relationship-based social work that ensures infants receive the best start in life post-birth. The team incorporates a strength based approach that is unborn/child centred and family-minded. They use evidence-based practice and ensure that all assessments are outcome-focused and fair to ensure great outcomes. If you enjoy providing early intervention service and direct work this could be perfect.

The Senior Practitioner role involves completing Child and Family Assessment which includes a pre-Birth Assessment using a pre-birth assessment tool kit. Cases held in the team a CIN/CP cases and occasional PLO/Court. The Senior Social worker will ideally have experience within a front line child protection team or assessment and intervention team holding a variety of CIN/CP/PLO/Court cases. Ideally they are looking for a confident practitioner who can provide mentoring to less experienced social workers in the team.
