This reputable authority are seeking a Senior Practitioner to take the lead in an area of social work practice, make threshold decisions at panels and ensure case work is compliant.
The post is based in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub which was described as a "model of excellence" in the 2019 Ofsted inspection, where the Childrens Services was graded "Outstanding". The team is known for having innovative ideas, good supervision, regular reflective space, excellent learning opportunities and nurtures professional development.
The day to day tasks will include:
- Undertaking MASH screening, risk assessments on complex cases that come into the MASH.
- Support and mentor social workers, field queries,
- Show leadership in the team promoting a reflective and learning environment.
- MASH Senior Practitioners are expected to have students in MASH and will be required to complete or have completed the PEPs.
