I am currently recruiting for a Transport Office Controller on behalf of a logistics company that covers the entirety of Yorkshire with their services, please continue reading below:

Salary: up to £20.000
Shift Pattern: 4on/4off - 7am till 7pm

Summary of Position:

* To have full understanding on how to Process of customer orders
* Monitoring jobs, progress chasing, ensuring vehicles are on time, update Truckcom system report any delays to customers
* Deal with any POD requests for customers assist with invoice queries report any unvoiced work
* Dealing with customer enquiries promptly and providing excellent customer service
* Sending and replying to all emails from customers with updates and lead times
* Accessing TMS to check times of deliveries and loads are planned according
* Charge the customer demurrage costs if the driver is held up, in line with the appropriate costs
* Provide customers with a breakdown of deliveries & timings that day and conformation for tomorrow's loads.
* Liaise with customers & co-ordinators to arrange returns back to customer
* Reporting our major customer issues to management
* Raise driver non-conformances and discuss with the customer
* Produce KPI Reports for our customers performance daily/weekly report to Commercial manager
* Maintain compliance of health & safety, ISO9001, 14001 & 18001 policies and procedures
* Support any if needed to cover sickness & holidays
