We are looking for two TECHNICAL SUPPORT OFFICERS to be based with our Client on the AWE Site in Reading.

The main responsibilities of the Technical Support Administrators is to provide effective, high quality, administrative and business support for the MENSA project.

The Technical Support Officers are principally responsible for monitoring of engineering outputs, organising regular reviews of deliverables and formally issuing of the engineering outputs, under the direction of the Engineering Management team

The role will require excellent time management, organisation and communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, clients and sub-contractors to deliver results on deadlines.

Ultimately, the Technical Support Officers duties are to ensure that engineering deliverables are tracked, managed, reported and issued on within agreed targets.


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Support your Manager and staff you are providing Technical support to.
Arrange meetings as requested and prepare necessary paperwork and booking of room.
Plan your own workload independently and complete tasks to given deadlines.
Maintain a good working relationship with Client and work colleagues.
Maintaining a strictly confidential approach to work at all times.


SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Drawings, Documents and Technical submissions through the review procedure to design/build certification.

Co-ordinate regular meeting to review engineering trackers to agree deliverable dates.

Oversee Concession Requests from receipt through to project management.

Oversee Technical Queries from receipt through to project management.

To organise TQ sentencing meetings as soon as TQ's arrive, log their status and track through to completion and progress the completion of the TQ's by discussion with the necessary personnel involved in responding to the TQ.

Oversee Design Change Notifications from concept through to project management sign off. Continuously logging their status progressing the completion of the DCN's by discussion with the necessary personnel involved.

To organise DCN Design Change Committee meetings as soon as DCN's reach their relevant stage for review.

Generate and distribute weekly reports on status for identified reporting to the client and the engineering team.

Liaise with clients and sub-contractors to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.

Assist in the preparation, control and reporting of budgets.

Create and maintain project documentation, plans and reports.

Proficient in Microsoft Office proficient particularly Excel.

5 GCSE's including English and Maths
