Do you want to work for an established, design and manufacturing site where you can see through the full lifecycle of your designs and challenge yourself as an engineering leader?
I am recruiting for an engineering manager to join a leading engineering business, taking the lead of a small team whilst utilising your own high level of technical engineering ability. Working in collaboration with product development engineers and the engineering director, you will be tasked with managing your engineering team to meet the strategic goals of the larger business for product development, and production.
Focusing mainly on technical expertise within a niche product range to ensure design projects are delivered.
Responsibilities:
*Management and direction of staff
*Support/ development and introduction of new products
*Sales and customer support
*Product support and Configuration management
*Operations Support
Ideal Requirements
*Proven experience in a relevant senior technical role
*Proven Leadership abilities
*Industry experience within aerospace and defence sectors
*Engineering design and project management ability
*Industry Drafting standard BS888 or similar
*3D CAD tool experience
*Manufacturing knowledge/ experience
*Development testing acumen
*Electromechanical/ electromechanic component expertise
