Retail Services Manager (Permanent)

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Services Manager to lead our team, based in Exeter.

What will you be doing?

In this new role as Retail Services Manager, you will enable the delivery of service and collections strategies through the leadership and oversight of our wholesale market services, retail contracts and performance governance.

The role requires close collaboration with all teams within Customer Services with strong delivery, governance and change management skills a key requirement.

You will act as a key interface with MOSL, the business water appointed market operator, and other business market groups. Your role will be to actively engage and working collaboratively to ensure an efficient and resilient market for the benefit of our end customers. This will include leading the coordination of market consultations across the directorate.

The Retail Services Manager will be responsible for the leadership of internal governance and reporting teams, ensuring high level of reporting quality and accuracy, coordination and audit processes at directorate level. 

You will be expected to ensure that internal teams have a high level of engagement as measured through the company’s Great Places to Work survey – creating a first class team culture and focusing on developing our people.

A key drive will be to deliver services within agreed budgets and supporting changes needed to deliver the Retail cost efficiency challenge.

What do you need?

• Leadership or change management qualification
• Excellent understanding of the importance of customer services
• A positive, proactive, ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to successfully collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results
• Ability to solve problems with innovative and creative solutions
• Be flexible and resilient, and able to lead change in the workplace
• Full UK Driving Licence
