The firm
A rapidly growing Top 50 Law firm are currently looking to appoint a Professional Indemnity Solicitor with a focus on Construction to join their Litigation department based in Central London. The 2 offices are both based near St. Pauls Cathedral.
The Specialty team undertakes a broad range of substantial, challenging, largely contentious work. This includes defending claims against a wide variety of professional service providers (including architects, engineers and financial advisors); insurance policy coverage; insurance and reinsurance disputes; and claims relating to construction, property damage, cyber and aviation
The role
The successful Professional Indemnity Lawyer will have the following skills / experience:
- 3-6 years PQE or equivalent
- Understanding of commercial insurance policies, the insurance market and reporting arrangement
- Experience of insurance litigation and policy coverage analysis is essential
- Previous secondment to or employment with an insurance organisation would be advantageous
- Experience of professional risk
