We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Management Supervisor role on behalf of our esteemed client based in Birmingham.

Role Summary:
An exciting opportunity awaits an enthusiastic individual to join our client's team in Birmingham as a Facilities Management Supervisor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting site operations, using your electrical or mechanical background and passion for dynamic team environments. Comprehensive tools and resources will be provided to nurture your growth and expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and adhere to all company QHSE policies and procedures.
  • Actively engage in Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability, and Quality leadership activities.
  • Support successful delivery and maintenance of contractor Logbooks to compliance standards.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality completion of PPMs in line with contract requirements.
  • Manage small projects and extra work, including reviewing quotes from subcontractors.
  • Maintain site compliance with mandatory safety requirements for facilities and utilities.
  • Assist in fault diagnosis and restoration of site services equipment when necessary.
  • Manage maintenance budget effectively and stay updated on relevant industry legislation changes.
  • Produce RAMS/SOPs for routine maintenance tasks and manage Permit to Work Requests.
  • Participate actively in client and team meetings, acting as deputy in line management absence.

Experience Required:

  • Proficient in ICT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and standard Microsoft Office systems.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Mechanical or Electrical background preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience in supplier/contractor interactions.
  • Knowledge and awareness of the facilities management industry.
