Project Manager (Commercial Fit Out ) (Permanent)
We are seeking experienced Project Managers to join our clients Regions team, overseeing a diverse portfolio of Commercial fit out projects in Cambridge and Birmingham. As part of our Regions Division, managing projects ranging from £500k to £15M in value, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional workplace environments.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the day-to-day management of commercial fit-out projects, ensuring seamless progression from initiation to completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded throughout the project life cycle.
- Utilise your expertise to lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in project programme management, design coordination, quality assurance, and health and safety protocols.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and adept navigation of project complexities.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of successfully delivering fit-out projects, showcasing your leadership and teamwork capabilities.
- Experience in liaising with clients on-site, representing their interests and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Proficiency in managing diverse site teams and addressing day-to-day operational challenges.
- While a trade background is desirable, it is not essential for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage contractors, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards while controlling costs.
- Proficiency in programme and progress reporting, with the ability to provide accurate updates to stakeholders.
- Strong familiarity with health and safety regulations, including conducting audits and implementing risk management strategies.
- Knowledge of planning software for effective project scheduling and coordination.
- Experience in managing community relations and familiarity with relevant industry standards such as CCS (Considerate Constructors Scheme), though not mandatory.
