Are you a highly organised PMO Manager with experience within regulation, government or public sector?

Do you have the Prince2 or MSP qualification and proven experience?

Our client is a high profile regulator, whose is seeking a highly efficient PMO Manager to be responsible delivering one of their most expansive and ambitious programmes.

You will be:
- Managing assigned projects or activities to agreed time, cost and quality.
- Support senior decision makers by proactively monitoring and providing honest reporting on progress, risks and issues.
- Ensuring project management documents (plans, logs, strategies) etc. remain fit for purpose and up to date.
- Developing and maintaining delivery plans
- Planning, tracking and reporting on outputs and outcomes
- Responsible for resource and budget planning and management
- Risk and issue management
- Managing interdependencies
- Maintaining quality control and project assurance standards and tracking their implementation
- Maintaining and tracking change control procedures
- Developing stakeholder maps and stakeholder management plans
- Planning and executing communication plans to stakeholders
- Building and managing relationships with stakeholders

We're looking for someone who:
- Is educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
- Has experience of project management, project delivery and PMO roles gained through working in a central PMO/project delivery environment.
- Has excellent project management techniques including planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, change control.
- Has the ability to work across multiple projects or activities, manage own time and propose resolutions to conflicting priorities.
- Has excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate professionally and effectively (verbally and in writing) with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Has interpersonal skills - a flexible approach and the ability to work well within and across teams and manage conflict.
- Has organisational skills - the ability to proactively prioritise, plan and schedule complex tasks and demonstrate problem solving skills.
- Experience in using MS Project.
- Experience of procurement and contract management.
