Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Experience within section 47s, referral and assessment
• Extensive Post Qualifying Social Work experience
• Social Work Qualification

This is an opportunity for Qualified Social Worker who would like to work as a Senior Social Worker in a Referral and Assessment team in South West London.

Responsibilities:

• Manage an agreed caseload of child and young people to safeguard and protect the welfare of young people
• Complete short-term work to meet needs and prevent long term involvement
• To prepare and maintain case records and other casework information to a high quality
• Formulate care plans in partnership based on the child or young person's assessment of need
• Be part of a duty system responded to crisis and child protection investigations
